NOTICE
The HD springs (6 big/6 small) may cause some slight chatter after they settle in. This is normal. To prevent it, ensure the disc is installed 100% straight using a transmission jack. Never let the transmission's input shaft hang on the disc, as this can bend the disc's splines.
Install CheckList:
1. Rear Main Seal
☐ Inspect for oil leaks
☐ Replace if leaking to avoid clutch contamination
2. Release Bearing
☐ Recommend using genuine Toyota release bearing
3. Flywheel & Pressure Plate
☐ Clean surfaces — no oil, grease, or dirt
☐ Do NOT grease the input shaft
4. Clutch Disc Installation
☐ Align disc (marked “808 to Pressure Plate”) with alignment tool
5. Pressure Plate Bolts
☐ Tighten bolts evenly in a cross pattern
☐ Torque to factory specs
6. Break-In Period
☐ Drive 500 stop-and-go miles to seat clutch
☐ Proper break-in improves performance and lifespan
